Title: Physical Camera in max 2016 - what exactly is hooked up?
Post by: pokoy on 2015-05-21, 18:33:12
It seems that with the new Physical Camera only the common parameters (those that match the normal 3dsmax camera) are hooked up in Corona but none of the new shiny features, is this correct? Are there plans to support it at some point?

Ok, good to hear. The new physical camera is a good thing after all, but I imagine it's going to be another 90% solution with Corona because of the built in exposure controls. I still prefer Corona's own system but if this could be made usable within the physical camera that would be nice.

Phys cam will be really good, great for those scenes where you have say interior and exterior shots and require different exposures. Would be nice to be able to tweak the exposure on the fly whilst rendering and have that sent to the cam being rendered.
