we already got similar bug report, we will investigate it

It looks like there is slight flickering indeed. Maybe it depends on the hdr file or some parameters. Here are 2 examples:

Thanks for replying fast, I don't think it depend on hdr, I have tried normal 16 bit exr and hdr and I get the same flickering result.
One thing I have tried, I tried to put the hdr in a light material on a plane with high poly, the flickering is reduced significantly but still there.
Dunno know if this helps.
Thanks again

It's not solved. But i have logged it into our internal bug tracking system so the problem is properly tracked. I am archiving thread to resolved just so that there is not duplicate report on both forum and Mantis bug tracker.

thank you :)

Hi all. I have got the same problem with flickering lights and HDR texmap. I hope this problem will be solved soon. Thank you!

Yup, if this doesn't get sorted quickly I will be stuck as well...
My scene is curiosly now allowing for Corona Bitmaps to be correctly loaded as HDR. I have an HDR Sequence lighting my whole scene and the light jumps like a cat on fire.

this will be fixed in 1.3
