Title: noise on shadow catcher
Post by: Christa Noel on 2015-05-05, 08:45:31
Hi all,
I have a black background productshot scene. i tried two material for the floor, shadowcatcher & black plane, both have the same reflection values. i think the shadowcatcher will goes faster than black plane, but it produced ugly noise .. is it a bug or is there some mistake in my settings? check the attachments,
the lighting is using few of rectangle corona light, black color for direct visibility override and a spherical hdr image for reflection override.

I can't see ugly noise you're mentioning, but i see you're using reflection override. You may want to disable it to check if it's related to this bug: https://corona-renderer.com/bugs/view.php?id=932

yes romullus, you're right .. it is related to bug you linked.
is there some way to make an "exclude" settings that will make the shadowcatcher disregard the reflection override??
