Is the first set of images lit with a HDRI and the second a sun/sky? The reason I ask is because first set of images have more of a richness than the second set, but both still very nice.

Stunning works.
I wasn't beleiving to my eyes when i looked at the 2nd image: the wall decoration is exactly the same in my bedroom :).

I could imagine you wish to get rid of the "staired edges" (Spotlights etc.).
It´s happening in areas of huge or maximum contrast (b&w).
Set the "Internal Resolution" in Corona Settings (I think it was System Section) from 1 to 2.
As far as I know, it takes a bit more RAM. You could also have a look here:
