Title: Anti Aliasing problem
Post by: soulkoder on 2015-04-20, 21:15:24
Good evening ...

Is there a way to make the bright objects edges less sharp ?

I tried to manipulate the filtering controls but I still have a problem near bright areas.

I uploaded an image :

the light coming through the window on the floor has bright edges.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks.

although I was trying to avoid setting internal resolution to 2 because it increases render times.

increasing the highlight compression was useful too although it changed the total brightness of the scene.

Not 100% sure, but i think that raising internal resolution doesn't add much to render time if at all, but it may consume more RAM.

btw, writing just in case - you can also change sun size to make the light more blurry :)
