Corona for car and environment. Vray+Phoenix for smoke. And a little Photoshop :) Hope someday Corona will be friends with fumefx or phoenix :)

As both are 3rd party plugins, it should not be hard to support them i think... The problematic part is that corona does not have any volume particle support yet....
