Title: reading corner
Post by: bouhmidage on 2015-03-19, 23:36:04
for the first time i'm trying to apply translucency to my materials ( the tulip petals ), and tested it with natural daylight and a spot light. models are not mine . i set up all the textures parameters manually.
Hope you like it !!
critics and comments are welcome guys :D

Good Morning,

I really like the light setup and also how the translucency is showing through the tulips!

But you should improve the reflection of that brick wall - it should be really rough where the bricks are showing, and even a little less glossy where there is paint. Especiall bothering in the second (daylight) render!

Other than that, i think it's pretty good!

This is an example of good use of translucency. :)
