Trying to render background image on a plane but without casting shadows to allow more light into the room.
I turned off the cast shadows in the object properties, but now the bg is being cut off by the glass in the windows.
Anybody knows why its doing that?

Maybe the background is only showing previously as it's in shadow, now not casting shadows is over exposed?

Hi, how did you make the background?
Tried this?

Turning on "Thin no refraction" in glass material solved the problem!

bg is just a corona mtl with diffuse map

It would mean that it's affected by scene lighting and affects lighting. Which you probably don't want.

I will try Corona Rayswitch approach later, thanks for for the info!

You shouldn't have such problems with it. But I'm also curious to check it.
