corona crash when trying re-render old interior (mental ray) scenes with corona
step by step,
- all old materials deleted (simple white - with subtle reflections corona material applied to all objects) ---ok
- daylight and light systems converted to corona ---ok
- exposure settings deleted --- ok
- i hit render and max crash... trying several times but crash everytime!
then i collapse modifiers... and render is ok
some geometry modifiers crash corona?

Did you try to create new scene and import->merge the old one into it?

HSDS is incompatible. If it is some other modifier, post the minidump 3dsmax generates upon crash, or feel free to upload the scene (http://corona-renderer.com/upload), I'll examine it

no hsds modifier in scene

yep, that is HSDS. That one is not supported, unfortunately it mysteriously crashes and I dont know why. I'll have to ask autodesk.
