default render settings ("path tracing" for ps / ss) and simple corona materials
no light, just emissive materials
render time, nine (9) minutes
more is coming...
-
second test... with my old baby room model
simple white materials with subtle reflections
corona sun+sky
pt+hd
3.47 minutes
(this scene crash with modifiers, all geometry collapsed)
-
same scene with different sun angle
imho, adjusting "post process" parameters while rendering is great!
-
It could be useful for us if you could try to track down the modifier that causes crashing ;)
-
i send dump and scene file...
another angle for camera and sun with DOF (pt+hd / 33 samples)
-
Yes, i noticed... just after i wrote the comment... sorry about that...
And thanks very much, all of the feedback is extremely helpful!
-
another angle... another view
its joyful... rendering with corona... i cant stop myself :) :) :) i will try something different with this scene
-
I'd try some materials ;)
-
:)
last render without materials

Do you ever eat like a lunch, or dinner? If you do, you might want to leave it render over lunch or dinner, at least for 30 minutes... you could get at least one image clean. But i know from my experience that when you get Corona in hands, it hard to be patient :D
-
exactly!... be patient with corona... almost impossible :)
and yet another grainy animation render
-
Video could be a bit brighter :)
-
new room, new render test... begin with white materials again :)
but this time i planning finish all materials
-
Any reason why you use preetham over hosek sky? Hosek+Wilkie is a lot more accurate sky model ;)
-
i dont know :)
same render and a few raw materials with hosek sky
-
Try to set your lights to kelvin temp color, and give them something in range between 3200-5600 to get warmer tones... While lights always look unnatural ;)
-
