Did you use self-illumination or corona light mtl for the luminous objects? What are those bright spots on goatar's face and horns? Is it intended?

No one light was used in this scene. Only self-illuminated objects. Bright spots - some sort of Avatar bright spots on faces. It is feature, not a bug.

So self-illumination objects light this scene? How long did it render?

Yep. Self-illumination objects. All ojects are in game of light. Too much lights to light it with traditional lights.

But in my memory it is about 12 hrs DR on 16 PCs. But most of this time is just for AA in DoF. F@Kng DoF AA (see theme in my signature). And this time just because it was night render. I stopped it at morning.

I would try that as well given that horsepower, but, I guess for now it's new record :- )

Post DoF is not so good with transparent and mirror surfaces. And some artefacts possible even with solid surfaces. Unfortunately we haven't got deep pixel EXR support in Corona to do this perfectly... sad

Funny or not, but I wanted to reach this effect as it is. Without any compromisses. So: "Time not important" (c) Fifth element

Time. Time. Time. I just waited for cleaning it :)

GI noise (even with only self-illuminated materials) was cleaned much much earlier than out of focus highlights. It's Achilles Heel of Corona at the moment in my opinion.
