All u need is Intel processor for that. That's all, everything else works automatically)

Not shure if i understand correctly but maybe one of this people can help you answer that.
They all live in corona California but maybe some of them are here on the forum.

Thats false infoformation, pls dont spread it.
Embree works of the AVX instruction set, which AMD supports since its fx lineup.
So all the FX lineup will work. (eg. AMD FX-8350)

Also not true ;). AVX is optional with embree. Its basic configuration runs with anything from last decade, including AMD, second one Sandybridge, and its most advanced one requires haswell. Programmers are free to create immediate steps that is optimal for any given they desire. For example Corona makes the step at "Core 2 Q9xxx or newer"

Well, Embree made my fx 8350, that dreaded 4 core finagle pack of silicon that calls itself 8 core, sing and make be go uguuuu~
Since V-ray has a checkbox, I benchmarked it. A freakin' minute for a stupid checkbox. Makes me exited for corona.
