Title: particle flow
Post by: Dexyd on 2014-12-07, 00:06:46
is the amount of particles or geometry inside particles extremely limited?

/edit.
Ive got some resonable high poly particles, that render fine in scanline and metalray, but when i use corona a huge amount of the particles dont render

My guess...
Did you check the quantity multiplier under PFsource -> emission? (must be 100%, by default is set to 50%)
I belive as Corona support Pflow in geometry mode what you see in viewport is what you get.

nope, to bad that does not solve it.
but since I'm not really anymating anything and it had to be placed withing certain boundery's I solved it by using scatter instead.

Pflow has polygon limitation per event, which is about 5M: http://www.khye.com/?p=582

Well, it worked in Mental ray and scanline, so it wasn't a pflow limitation.

In that case, i think you should report it as abug.

yeah might do that. For now CoronaScatter does the job perfectly.
