Title: Corona Material Converter | MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception
Post by: Nahaf on 2014-11-11, 16:19:03
Hi all,

I found a problem when I'm trying to use the Corona Material Converter:

MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception

-- Unknown property: "Generic_Color" in Material #759:Autodesk_Material

Does anyone knows how to fix this?
Thank you so much.

I do.. hopefully ;)

The Autodesk_material conversion has not been tested a lot since I don't have any scenes with them - but it should still work with everything so this error is a bit weird.
Which converter version are you using? (the version number right at the beginning of the code file)

Can you send me the material which is causing the error?

Thank you DeadClown,

I'm using the last corona version and the problem is that I can't find the material that is causing this error...

I tried to reset all materials to coronamtl and I think it works.

Uhm... well... then I can't do anything I suppose.
If you have this error again and you can isolate it a bit better or send me a scene, don't hesitate to contact me :)

Thank you for your help, anyway.

I'll try to reattach the scene to see if the problem still presists.

Hello there

I had the same problem.

How did you untie it.

You also posted in a thread where the solution was to install Vray (or other renderer from which you are converting). Let us know if this does not help you.
