As much as I like doing exterior work here is a interior I designed.

Hi,

1. Lighting looks flat / light side - shadow side?

2. Too much yellow tint from bounced light

3. Textures / shaders are also too simple

4. Composition cloud be better if you want to stay with a 1pp image.

5. Too much variation going on with the plants

6. work more on the styling

I know it is a wip image but these were the things I observed.
Hope you dont mind and will be able to push the scene further.

Well, honestly, it doesn't look very bad and doesn't look very good. Lighting isn't bad. When you unzoom it looks ok. Now about the flaws:
-looks like you used displacement on the chimney bricks, it looks like the side faces are detached from the rest of it
-the fire doesn't look good... it's too dark and contrasty and lacks transparency
-the area where palm leaves are against very bright background - not sure if it's image compression but it looks too "crispy"
-the image looks slightly overexposed but it's ok if it's intended
-ugly (low res) background image

Overall, nice room, for a better look:

Plants lookin ..... äh ..... dunno, there's no life in the plants, the plant pot's have no "feeling - Window frames are a little bit to shiny,
the stonewall looks way to flat, also the fireplace is not deep enough, the look out of the windows is to clear
and to bright

otherwise a nice idea/concept

I should also note that that this is my own design, so I don't have a team of interior designers, architects etc helping me out for this :)
