Title: Render doesn't stop when pass limit has been reached HUGE problem
Post by: snakebox on 2014-10-12, 15:06:53
As topic says..

I have renders going for 10 hours even though it only takes them 40mins to get to the 150 passes that is the limit, but they don't stop! just keep going.. when I manually stop it it crashes and saves nothing (like mentioned in another thread).

I cannot be the only one experiencing this?! fix?!

BADLY need a solution to this.

Btw: this is on 7.1A hotfix.

Thanks :)

This happens regularly on multiple different files.

I'm desperately trying to render a commercial job that should have taken 16 hours... now after 48 hours its 53% done because most of the slaves just sits there. :/

It seems to happen randomly, but a lot of heavier scenes that takes up 20+ gigs of ram to render.

The irony is that everything renders fine and looks great, but it often doesn't stop / crash when forced to stop. I'm trying all sort of things here by restarting the machines etc.

It happens both locally and when network rendering. Both multiple jobs and distributed. It just seems like corona shits itself and ends up in a memory loop when it hits a certain threshold.

Hi
Try to merge in new file and recheck.

I have been forced to stop.. I will try and merge it all into a new file and resubmit.
