Post by: criollito on 2014-09-08, 22:26:12
hi guys, i have a critical issue when i try to render animated Realflow (.bin) mesh imported to 3dsmax, i choose corona to make my render, but it only works when i render still frames, not a range of frames, i dont know really how to explain it in details but if u need more details please ask on this post, i really need help fixing this, thanks for ur time to read this thread, regards!

Maybe you can mesh those particles with Frost. To me is the only way a could find to render those sequences.

Yes, I had no problems rendering things meshed with frost.

Cheers.

Hi criollito... in the export central (in export tab in Realflow) you can see where Realflow exports the bin files that contains your simulation.

In Max, create a Frost object and under "Particle Files" tab load that sequence of bins (just select one, Frost automatically load the whole bunch).

After that you need to play with the meshing settings of frost (way faster than Realflow).
Important settings are under "Meshing" (generaly anisotropic is better for liquids in my opinion.
Other one to look for is "particle size", find one that suits your units.
