Title: Distributed Rendering issue
Post by: Sportler on 2014-08-19, 10:58:12
Hello, I am trying to do some distributed rendering with my laptop, but am met with this error. Any idea what might be causing it?

 - I have 3ds max and Backburner installed on both machines
 - I find my laptop in max interface on manager
 - Laptop registers on backburner successfully

Thanks

Ok just found it :

- close DrServer.exe
- locate your DrServer installation folder (should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corona\DrServer")
- delete the "drData" folder
- launch DrServer.exe
- it should log "Cannot read the config file, default one will be created"

Still had problem when remotly launching DrServer.exe

It seems that it is a working directory issue while executing the exe.

Here is a command line workaround :
start /B /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corona\DrServer" DrServer.exe
