Good Morning,
This a new personal project I did with Nasrin Islami. Bernadotte School Extension. I wanted to try out mystic after rain look. I hope renders came out ok :)
Some project Info:
Architects: Tegnestuen Vandkunsten
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Client: Bernadotteskolen
Engineers: Moe & brødsgaard
Project Area: 253 m2
Completion Date: 2009
Softwares: Google Sketchup, 3Ds Max, Corona Renderer
Modeling: I made initial modeling of 2 buildings while Nasrin did all wire cages and stairs.
Model Credits: Some models are indeed from Evermotion.
Special thanks to Bianca Neagu from Bucharest, Romania for your help :)
I hope you will enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating them. Please do leave your valuable comments.

your attention to details and shaders are alarmingly fantastic.... nice design too. u can try desaturating the images just a tiny bit and see how it looks. keep it up

Great, clean renders. I am no expert but the architecture also looks appealing to me - simple and functional.
I think debris maker was also involved. :)
I wonder if these works would benefit from use of new scattering media feature.
-
Thanks yagi and maru.. glad u guys like it :)
Maru yeap as I was about to finish this project debries maker was released so i tried it.. btw i dont know what is scattering media feature :) tell me more about it :D
Thanks :)

Well... it simulates light scattering through some media so you can use it for SSS, smoke and volumetric fog effects. This could add to the "mystic after-rain feeling" but it's still in development and available only in daily builds. :)

Sorry for late reply. Here is the evening lighting setup..

Why do you set your gradient to screen mapping? It gives wrong results in IBL.

Correct.. Sorry.. print screen was made from another laptop so forgot to change that :D thanks for pointing it out.. ;)
EDIT: Updated screenshot with correct mapping type :)

Hi....Thanks sam mahajan.

Really nice work. The "after the rain" feel is excellent!!!! I would have liked to see a the interior lighting for the day shot being a little less uniform in kelvin value. The evening/dusk shots are A+.
