Title: Autosave on every N(th) pass reached
Post by: Candelero on 2014-08-10, 20:03:38
I was wandering if it is possible to add such an option into the Setup menus.
Currently ( 7.1 ) has an option to autosave after a period of < sec > .

But what I've found out is that, it's not the time that matters most, but the passes.

I would love to have this option , for example Autosave every 50th pass reached, then 100th , 150th... so on .
Of course the user says the N number of passes.

Best regards,

I dont see any reason for this - time and passes are usually linearly dependent on one another.  It would clutter UI, which is already too complicated

Ondra, but this isn't true if you are using different node for our test.
If I have an old Core2Duo and a new I7, for the same time, I have different quality.
This is why we asked to save the render after n° passes.
