Post by: Lucutus on 2014-07-29, 10:01:07
My first try on a foam material similar to something like this (http://image.ec21.com/image/lujing881110/oimg_GC04370374_CA05526624/Polyethylene_Foam_Plank_Material.jpg)

Its not a displacement material.

The foam structure itself is modeled.

The test is rather about the plastics translucency

its is particlebased.

Its a adjusted procedural noise map used as a volume emitter in PF and then meshed.

This mesh is then scattered using Forest Pack Pro.
