Guys,
What is more important for faster Corona rendering - more cores and less frequency OR less cores but more Mhz?

It`s all about to buy Huswell-E. Х or K?

I always find more frequency better. For comparison sake, I have a  dual Xeon machine at my office (6 core E5-2630 @ 2.3 GHz x2) and an i7-990X @ 3.4 GHz 6 core at home, and the render times are nearly identical (the Xeons are slightly faster).

With Mental Ray my i7 is faster.

multiply frequency by cores. If the numbers are close, go for higher frequency

Better will be i7–5960X :D
