Title: Corona Light - 3ds Max VS Standalone
Post by: coronauserspain on 2014-07-10, 11:12:10
First of all, Thank You for A7!

I noticed a different interpretation of Corona Light in Corona Alpha V7 3ds max 2015 and Corona Standalone V6:

In Standalone, the light appear, even if the "Visible directly" option is deactivated at "Export scene..." moment.

Does anyone know a solution to remove the appearance of light in Standalone rendered image?

I found a tip in "Corona standalone input format description" https://corona-renderer.com/wiki/standalone (https://corona-renderer.com/wiki/standalone) :
"Use geometry with materials that have Ke set to non-zero to create lights"
What does it mean "Ke set to non-zero" ?

ke is the emission koefficient as much as I know. So if your material has a non black emission color, it is turned into a light.
