Title: How to select solid background in Adobe Premiere?
Post by: lightwriter on 2025-08-13, 13:20:52
Hi there!

I rendered an animation in 3ds Max + Corona and, besides the LightMix render, I also ended up with the CMasking_WireColor. My plan is to whiten the background in Premiere, while maintaining a soft shadow. Unfortunately, using the Corona Shadow Catcher Material didn't give me the results I wanted.

Does anybody knows how to select the background color in the CMasking_WireColor, in order to select the Interactive_LightMix background and lighten it up?

Thank you for your help; however, I posted the same question in the Adobe Community, and an Adobe employee was able to solve my issue: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/how-to-select-solid-background-in-adobe-premiere/td-p/15458674#M568722 (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/how-to-select-solid-background-in-adobe-premiere/td-p/15458674#M568722)
