Title: Texture with UDIM

Hi, has anyone tried using UDIM textures in C4D 2025.3?
I tested it with a bitmap and set the UV tiling mode to UDIM, but it doesn’t seem to work. The side texture, which should appear using the second tile, isn’t showing up.

I guess it's a bit too soon, the update was released after v13's release.

Even without talking about the new features, the Corona Bitmap shader has already some bugs waiting to be fixed for a long time ;)

Hi,

Please see a short tutorial attached below showing how to use UDIMS with Corona.

Remember to use correct naming, using corona bitmap uv tiling mode set to UDIMS and UV mapping your objects correctly to make it work.

Hi Avi,

Is this new feature in V14? Will it come to 3ds Max users as well? I mean we have native UDIM support, but last time i checked, it really sucked. It would be nice to have UDIM support directly in the Corona bitmap, like it's in your video.

Hi, No its there in Corona 13 also but only in C4D version of Corona bitmap. I do understand, this is not there by default in 3ds Max version. I checked internally and I think it could be because c4d had handled it better than max from the start. For Max, we can use "MultiTile" node which is present in 3ds Max and set it to UDIM and it works also.
