hello,
I just tested the AI Enhancer on a 360° image for VR. The AI works, the characters are improved, but the resulting image is no longer a 360° image and can therefore no longer be used. Do you have any feedback on this?
Thanks

Is it trimming the image dimensions? What is the width and height sent to the Enhancer, and what is the width and height you get back? Or do you mean it is no longer 360 in some other way?

I'm creating a 360 panorama image (360 spherical camera) to create a virtual tour with the collab tab.
My finished image is 2000 x 1125.
Since there are characters, I'm using AI Enhancer. Once enhanced, it's 4096 x 2304 px and is no longer considered a panorama, but a simple image.
Attached is a screenshot: on the left, the panorama image is 2500 x 1125 px, on the right, the image after AI is 4096 x 2304 px.

Well, surprised either is considered pano, as the auto recognition of pano is a 2:1 aspect ratio. You can just manually change it to pano by editing the settings for the image in Chaos Cloud, though, and that should work.

Thanks for this info and tips!!

I did the following:
- set up a simple scene
- add the AiEnhancer render element
- add a Corona camera with spherical projection
- set resolution to 2:1 ratio
- render
- submit to Cloud using the AI Enhancer button
- it resulted with an image that was marked as a panorama
- used the enhance option
- it resulted in an enhanced image that is still considered a panorama
So the panorama + AI combination seems to be working fine. Can you explain if you did something differently?
