Please check these out:

Here is how to use the enhancer - https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/36244594382353-How-to-use-AI-Enhancer-in-Corona-for-Cinema-4D

It is also included in the documentation - https://docs.chaos.com/display/CRC4D/Corona+VFB+2.0#CoronaVFB2.0-CoronaVFB2.0Buttons

I am able to upload my image to the cloud, but I do not see the "Enhance" button as is shown in the documentation anywhere.
Yes, i have added the CMasking_AiEnhancer Render Element. Yes, i'm logged into the cloud with my Chaos account. The button just simply doesn't exist for me, so i'm not sure what i'm missing?

You are using the new button in the top of the VFB to upload the image for enhancement (and not the Collaboration tab in the VFB, which is for regular images and pano tours etc)? Unless you use that button to send it to the Cloud for enhancement, it won't be uploaded as an EXR and so won't be able to have enhancement run on it once in the Cloud (the Collaboration tab uploads send it as a PNG).

What if if i render 5 images over overnight in the C4D render queue, saving them as .cxr files.

- I can't re-open them in the VFB, so not AI enhancing that way
- I can re-open them in the standalone image editor, but that doesn't upload to Chaos Cloud, so no luck there
- I can't upload the .cxr on the cloud website either.

I tried saving as .exr instead and uploading directly to Chaos Cloud, but that doesn't allow AI enhancing either.

There must be a way???

...oh wait. I can open an .ext in the picture viewer (knew that) and then pass it to the VFB (didn't know that).

From the VFB, I can upload to the cloud and use the AI enhancer "as usual".

You can just drag-and-drop a CXR into the Corona VFB.

Every time I send an image to apply the enhance, the "beauty" image is sent to the cloud. But I want the "interactive light mix" image to be enhanced. How do I fix this? I use cinema 4d mac

Sorry, but currently applying the AI Enhancer to LightMix isn't possible. As a workaround, you can use the >Scene button in LightMix to bake LightMix values into scene lights. Please note that this isn't non-destructive so you may want to save a backup of your scene before doing this if you are planning to adjust LightMix further.

I see. I baked it here and it worked, thanks for the tip. I even tested it with Bloom & Glare and had the same problem. As a workaround, I'm generating an object with multipass ID to use in Photoshop and using masks I can get the image I need. It's an extra step, but I think the end result is worth it. Anyway, it's a first version that I'm excited about. I'm looking forward to the next updates.

I don't quite understand the workflow to use the AI enhance.  What is the required file format?  I have the AIenhance pass activated in multipass, and I tried EXR and CXR but I don't see the AI enhance icon activated in VFB2 in either case. I am rendering a 1920x1080 image for 10 passes.  If I open the VFB2 from Picture viewer, but it makes no difference.

edit: ...nevermind - I hadn't added the actual AI enhance pass...  my mistake!
