Hello there,
I know there is dedicated Anima forum but it looks completely silent. Any help would be appreciated as I am running out of time.
I use Anima drop to populate my scene with people. If I save that 3ds max scene file, close it and re-open it, the Anima actors are invisible both in viewport and render. I can find and select them through scene exploder but they keep invisible.
I appreciate any help.

I don't have a solution to your problem, unfortunately.
But I am also a big user of Anima.
I only come here to say that it is a horrible plug-in to ever try to do any debugging on. It has so many issues, performs so unpredictably, causes so many headaches, and yes, there is no community to speak of to turn to.
But it has become a completely necessary part of my workflow, unfortunately.
I was hopeful that Chaos would improve it, but it only seems to have got worse since.
Good luck with solving the issue!

It's a shame that such an advertised app lucks the support is needed. I understand that all apps have bugs and that's normal, but luck of support shows a bad mentality of their team.
Is it alright to ask you a couple of questions?
a) How do you mirror actors inside Anima standalone app? I cannot really find it.
b) Is it normal that actors are locked in place and they cannot be moved when they are imported from an Anima standalone scene to 3ds max?
Thank you very much.

Hi,
I try to avoid using Anima standalone at all costs, so I can't answer these questions sorry.

You did the right thing by reporting your issues to our support team at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
They are now handled in support tickets #385353 and #385652 byt the Anima team.
