Hi
I have installed update 2 for Corona 12 and the Live Link to Chaos Vantage isnt working, I have tested on different simple scenes and it always fail, from the toolbar and the System Button, I dont have any issues with Vray.
What can I try to link it? It was working fine in the previous version.

Which version of Vantage do you have installed? And which version of Max are you running, while we are info gathering :)

Im using the latest Vantage version 2.7.1 in 3ds Max 2025, I have also tested on Max 2026 and still no live link

No idea what may be wrong, but have you tried reinstalling Corona and Vantage?

It is working here, 12 U 2 final, same Vantage as you, in Max 2026, and using as heavy a scene as I had to hand too.

Also let us know what is in Vantage Live Link Address, in System Settings in the Render Settings dialog (you can probably compare that to some equivalent setting from V-Ray, I haven't looked for it yet :) )

I never install DR Server nor Standalone?
Could it that be related? Do u recommend to install them for this purpose?

Nope, DR Server and Standalone are unrelated to this.

Corona Vantage LiveLink - Address: localhost: 20701
Vray LiveLink server on port - 20701
Vray LiveLink v2 server on port 20703
I have tried with both and still anything :(

The same problem. This problem appeared in corona 12 update 1. When I launch the live link, the chaos vantage home window opens. After a while, a window pops up with the error "live link to chaos vantage failed".

It would be then easier for us to sync with our Vantage experts and troubleshoot this.

Corona Vantage LiveLink - Address: localhost: 20701
Vray LiveLink server on port - 20701
Vray LiveLink v2 server on port 20703
I have tried with both and still anything :(
Can you please check if port 20701 is free and not being used by another application?
You can easily check it by opening Command Prompt and running this command:
netstat -aon | findstr :20701
If nothing appears, the port is free (good).
If you see a line, it means something else is using it.
Also, try disabling firewall to see if it solves the issue.

Yes, I have tried on two computers, each with Vantage 2.7.1 and Vantage 2.8. CORONA12updata2 installed, and both experienced connection failures, while updata1 worked without issues

Can you open Vantage, goto menu bar > live link and start server and then try to do live link from Corona.
Let me know if this works.

Yes, it has been enabled, but it still prompts a link failure. Switching to VRay works normally

I have recently updated to Update 2 Hotfix 1 and Vantage 2.8.1 and the issue its still there
