Hello all,
I am trying to replicate this Material in Corona Render.
https://cgmood.com/learn/a-scratched-and-dusted-wood
The material scene is free to download, but its a Firestorm scene.. i ve attached the bitmaps.
I am ok so far with creating the Base material and the Layer1 Material.. i ve literally did it like in the firestorm scene...
But now when it comes to the "scratched" stuff i am struggeling.. I mean in Corona i think we will do it with an CoronaAO map
I am not familar with FS, but it seems the process is a bit different with creating outer edges dirt and inner edges dirt and all this mixing.. it was too confusing for.. so i tried it with the AO map and so on.. but it looks not good.. and very different from the original..
Maybe there is a other workflow, or how can i replicate this material, that it also looks so good

Just a general comment - i think it looks wrong from the get go because there is a glossiness map in the roughness slot or something. The it looks like its inverted so the base wood is wrong before adding any scrapes

I don't think you replicated wear mask from the tutorial very well.

Thank u..
Its very difficult for me to copy this fstorm materials to corona.. bought the fstorm converter some time ago, but the results are not really usable..
When i add CoronaAO and plug it into my Mask.. i get strange rectangles on the surface.. i attached 2 pictures
Still cant figure out why this happens

Try to adjust ray directionality until polygon edges will disappear from AO. Plugging AO to Corona color correct and adjusting contrast, or curves might also help to deal with this issue.
