Title: Scene still parsing
Post by: LeSill on 2025-03-12, 16:15:20
Hi guys,

When I modify the material or adjust some light parameters in the lightmix window, the scene begins to parse. Is it normal? When a scene is large enough, it can take a long time to parse. I am spending more time waiting than working.
Any idea what's causing this? I use the latest CORONA 13 daily build.

Kind regards

Hello there,

Thank you for posting this.
We've received similar reports, and the issue has already been reported.
Could you please try the following workaround?: Remove the White Balance controller from the Tone Mapping options for the Camera.
See if the issue persists.
Alternatively, could you please try using the latest Daily Build?
Please let us know the outcome.

Hi,

I am running the most recent daily build, and as soon as I complete rendering an animation, I will try to delete the LEGACY WHITE BALANCE controller, even though I believe I did it a few weeks ago and it did not resolve the issue.

Kind regards

Hello @LeSill,

Thank you for your reply.
I just want to be sure I understood correctly.
Did you delete the White Balance controller before starting the rendering process? Or was it running, and you did delete it before the rendering process was completed?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I disabled the LEGACY WHITE BALANCE option and then started the interactive rendering. As soon as I alter the SIMPLE EXPOSURE setting, the parsing restarts!!! It's very bothersome.

Hello @LeSill,

Thank you for your reply.
Please Delete/Remove any White Balance controller (not disabling it) and see if the issue persists.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards.
