Hello
My license has stopped working, I have been a long-time user, and never had this problem before.
I have window 10.
Please help. I'm middle of project and I need to fix this ASAP.
thanks
-
I have the same problem and just wanted to post this. This is an urgent issue. Please Chaos fix this ASAP. Needless to say we can't do our job at this moment!
-
We are having the same issue over here, the license server says there are no licenses available when we should have at least 8.
-
All our render nodes are failing as well. Is Corona down everywhere? Pls, we really need to deliver a job today
-
My license server says the license is available but i can't use it.
-
Same here!
-
Yes, same here. I could access Corona normally until 12.45, then no license.
Online portal reports everything's fine so... yeah doesn't seem so.
Thanks, Chaos, good job. We're paying upfront, don't we?
-
just now:
-98 There are no available licenses of this type on the Chaos License Serve
I opened a ticket
-
If everyone could open their own individual ticket that would be helpful, thank you. As a note, the relevant support team have been notified that there seems to be a sudden spike in this being an issue (but those individual tickets still help).

This is exactly why users HATE web based licenses.
I hope you guys are able to figure something out. If you let your client down Chaos should be on the hook for some compensation. This is unacceptable.

Mine is #355195
Going by the number of users posting about the same problem at he same time it's a problem on your end. Asking us to submit a ticket is just not the way to go about this and, no matter the way you look at it, won't help to solve it.
And really, this shitty licensing system (in the past and now again) leads to all kinds of issues, no way the usual text block answers will do this time.
-
Another day, another epic failure, thanks CHAOS, really living up to your name now. Agree with above, yet another perfect example of why online licensing stinks.... you'd actually think they would have some sort of redundancy in place though right? This is absolutely unacceptable for every single user relying on this software to make a living.

Instead of wasting time with useless tickets we should prepare some class-action lawsuit, honestly.
-
We have been informed this should be resolved now, please test and let us know (no need for a ticket if you hadn't already sent one in).
-
Working for me now, Tom.
-
TY for confirming. Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone.
-
Maybe you could give us some insight into what went wrong? This will help people understand these issues better.
-
Working here as well Tom! Thanks for taking care of it!
-

Working here as well now, but a lot of time lost...
-
working now
thanks Tom

Working again, thank you.
It's probably time to learn from this issue (and so many before) and improve the licensing system, some suggestions:
- I had ISP connectivity issues in the past and every time my license was wonky for a few days. A licensing system that checks the license and then stores its status for a day or two would already help a lot
- let us work on materials even with the system not being able to retrieve a valid license
Really, anything that actually pays respect to the fact that we're paying upfront for 1 year of undisturbed usage of your software. I'm sure others have own thoughts to add.
-
In Autodesk for example whenever there's a connectivity issue or whenever it can't retrieve the license you don't lose access to the products, you get to use it offline for 24 hours.
Couldn't that be applied here?

Anyone else having the same licensing issues today with AnimaALL? Opened a ticket already but curious if coincidence or not. Anima's licensing is dreadful at the best of times but not being able to use it at all right now is a wonderful Morning surprise on top of Corona going down as well.

Alex, seems to be working for me - but as you correctly mentioned, the dreadful licence is so unpredictable and hard to manage that this doesn't mean much. So I can't say for sure that it is working 100%

Hi Tom, I'm still having the issue with 2 computers, I have sent a ticket already
The error we received is '1002: All licenses for this product are currently engaged', but in the license server, its the same computer that is actively using it.
When I press render the error comes up.

We're in a bit of urgent situation because of being unable to work since yesterday, hope you can help
-
It is good that you sent in a ticket, as we don't have any access to the licensing side of things (not me, nor our tech support team), so unfortunately there is nothing I can do to help directly. But with the ticket in place, it will have got to the licensing team for them to look into what is happening.
