Title: Is "image upscaling factor" exposed to maxscript?
Post by: RecentSpacesSam on 2025-02-04, 17:24:03
Title really.

We have a tool for enabling/disabling/altering certain things during interactive rendering and it was requested that I add the ability to change Image Upscaling Factor of IOR.

I tried "showproperties renderers.current" but couldn't see anything in the list that would be relevant.

TIA

IR upscaling:
renderers.current.upscaling_ir = true

Production render:
renderers.current.upscaling_mode = 2

Hope that helps! (and works :) )

I think he is referring to the "Image upscaling factor" inside the System Settings.

Sorry, multitasking...
I'll check with the devs and share the outcome.

Thanks Maru, yes it is the system settings one that I am looking for.

Also typo in my original comment. IPR not IOR :)

Unfortunately, it seems this is not accessible via maxscript. System settings are written to a file at C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20xx - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona\SystemSettings-xxx.conf
