Title: MTL Override object button
Post by: las_Archviz on 2025-01-28, 18:39:27: hello Guys, I have a request for anybody that knows a little about 3ds max scripts, I actually know nothing about it, I have tried to make a script with AI like chat gpt and others but I have failed, I want to make a hot key or a short cut or just any button so i can add selected object/objects to the exclusion list of chaos corona render material override, so I don't have to have the rendering setup window open all the time as I add materials to my scene gradually, is there anything that I can do about it? or is there any hot key that i could define? or anyone can help me create a script, the ai ones are not working, thanks guys.

Post by: CharlyRT on 2025-01-28, 19:00:05: Im not an expert either, but something that have helped to "write" scripts is Max Listener, it will show you most of the commands that youre using, only activate MacroRecorder and start doing what you want to the script to do, hopely you can see what codes are the ones that u need, I recommend to ask in Stack facebook group, hopely "Frood" can help you here too.
