Title: Natural landscape in analog photo style
Post by: creo3d on 2025-01-23, 12:10:57
Hi :)
While working on this project, I aimed to capture the magic of the analog style, where noise, distortions, and subtle chromatic aberrations take center stage. These imperfections are what define the character of vintage cameras, turning ordinary images into unique memories. My goal was to create a visualization that transports you back in time, evoking the warmth of nostalgia and the essence of an era where every detail told a story.

I poured my heart into every aspect of this work – from textures to lighting – to bring out the authenticity of those times. I truly admire this artistic imperfection, which breathes the spirit of the past into the project.

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts – how does this vibe resonate with you? Do you also feel that longing for retro? 🌌📸

How on earth did You manage to spot chromatic aberrations on old b&w pictures?
To my taste, these renderings are very far from the retro vibes - too perfectly balanced between white and black, there is no over/under exposure which was vastly present in photography.

Yeah, you can't have chromatic aberrations in a black and white film. Other than that, they are very cool!
