I've been living with this for a while - but it seems to be getting worse...
When using an HDRI in the SKY object, if I try to make an adjustment to the HDRI using Cinema's 'Filter' or Çorona's 'Colour correct' then the machine almost always crashes immediately.
It was happening in C4D 2024 and is now happening in C4D 2025 (all latest versions). In corona 12 and 12.1.
PC. with win 11, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, 64 GB RAM

Sorry to hear you are having problems. For crashes, please include the minidump from the crash, any error message you see, the scene file (or simplified version that still has the problem; and also, please be sure to include any HDRIs, texture maps, etc. used) - sometimes that is best sent in via ticket at https://support.chaos.com/requests/new just for privacy reasons so you aren't sharing the scene with everyone for example. https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4648898278545-How-to-report-issues-C4D gives a good guide on where to find the minidumps etc.

Thanks Tom.
Definitely not scene or hdri specific. Its happened many, many times under different circumstances (sometimes just using a gradient and not an HDRI at all.)
Its editing any material that is used as a texture on a corona sky object.
I've attached the minidump etc below

Thank you for the additional info and minidumps!

happens to me if you try to filter an HDR into the Corona SKY object by using the Corona Color correct as well...
Latest Cinema, latest Corona and later Apple MacOS system...
