Title: COSMOS BROWSER HAS DECIDED TO STOP WORKING. HELP PLEASE>
Post by: wardy_mk on 2024-09-25, 11:22:48
Hello. I've started getting this error message as of a couple of days ago when trying to open the cosmos browser.
Running a Mac Studio M1 Ultra with Cinema 4D 2024.4.1 and Corona 12
Any ideas?

Also, my cinema 4D crashes at least 8 times a day when loading images into my project asset inspector. I've noticed that the HDRI image I have loaded into the Corona Sky object for illumination needs to be reloaded in the actual object manager or it'll crash pretty much every single time. Also, if I've re-linked everything using the project asset manager and press render then try and save then close quickly afterwards about 25% of the time it'll crash cinema 4D too. This, as you can imagine, is frustrating beyond belief and expensive for my company's efficiency. Is this a common thing? If so, is there anything I can do to solve it?

No problem. Do I have to do this within the program or on this site? Not raised a ticket before....!

Tickets are raised at https://support.chaos.com/requests/new (the "contact us" in the Corona team's signatures also goes there)

I have had this issue too. Ended up having to reinstall a new Cosmos Browser. No idea why it suddenly stopped and the error didn't suggest installing a new Browser.

Followed the instructions on uninstalling it, then reinstalled it and it seems to be fine. Cheers tech support!

Are there any updates or patches available for Cinema 4D or Corona that might resolve these stability issues, and have you checked forums or user communities for similar experiences and solutions?
