Title: reflection with glass refraction
Post by: alejandro calonge. on 2024-06-25, 17:47:41
Hi, somebody could help me with this trouble. I have a reflectant surface, below a frosted glass. But the reflection takes the refraction of the glass at 0.
Here I attach picture.

Hi, which exact version of Corona is this and what exact kind of materials are you using? If those are Corona Legacy Materials, please switch to the Corona Physical Materials and everything should be working as expected. The Corona Legacy Materials can be converted to Corona Physical Materials using the Corona Converter Script (right click in any viewport > open Corona Converter).

Hi marcin, thanks for the reply. Yes, the material is legacy material. Both materials (reflecting and refracting) are chorme fingerprints nad glass frosted, from the material library. You suggest to use PBR or convert these?

It shouldn't matter. You can try automatic conversion first and if there are some issues you can create the materials yourself.
