Title: Corona Sky volume effect
Post by: _fosafosa on 2024-06-20, 14:05:14
Hey guys,

Is it possible to somehow control the "volume effect" so that it doesn't affect objects closer to the camera?

Unfortunately, even on a small scale setting like 0,1 it affects the whole scene.

In addition, I found that even if we use hdri to light the scene, but plug Corona Sky into the CoronaSelectMap slot and turn on the volume effect it still works.

Hi,

There is unfortunately no way to control the volume effect bias.

For the other issue, it is known and we have it logged in our system. No updates for now, sorry.

Actually it's great that it works that way, only if we could control starting distance...

Why don't you use a box to maintain the effect enclosed in it? That way you can have control on where the effect starts.
