Title: white lines on the render
Post by: maty on 2024-05-30, 14:15:39
Hello, I have a problem with the rendered image, I see white lines in the image. In attachment i marked them on red. Could someone help me solve this problem?

Looks like you are using the Slicer? These look like small parts of geometry left over from the slicing, if so.

You could try changing the material of the walls, or of the caps, see if those lines change color along with it. If it looks like an error in the Slicer results with stray geometry where there  should be none, we'd need the scene (or at least the geometry that doesn't slice, with the slicer) sent in via ticket at https://support.chaos.com/requests/new

Hi,

Slicer can be very "sensitive" to non-capped geometry and create visual artifacts. Make sure the objects being cut are capped (have no open parts, borders). If they happen to be not enclosed volumes, at least make sure there are no multiple such objects on the say line of sight. You can apply shell modifier to those objects as a possible quick workaround.

Hope this helps.
