Title: Best way to render same object in 50 different textures?
Post by: Lukaswk on 2024-05-15, 11:51:46
Hello.

What is the best way to render the same object ( a chair ) but I need the seat in 50 different textures?

I will render the chair from 5 different angles so It's going to be a lot of pictures. it would be helpful if there is a way to batch it.?

Thank you in advance!

Best Regards.
Lukas

I would load the textures as a sequence and basically render all of it as animation, each frame new texture.

in 3ds Max 2024, you have a new node called material switcher in 3ds Max. You can input 10-50 materials and animate the value of material switcher to change per frame and you can render the full timeline and it should work.

You can also use Corona select mtl.

You can animate the radio button in the Corona Select Material or Corona Select Map. (check out the attached video)
