Title: 3ds max 2024 slowdown

Just updated to Corona 11 and now everything is super slow to load up. Opening max takes forever, switch between Corona and vray takes forever. Almost no  workable speeds.Any idea on how to fix this issue?

Hi,

Can you please ans the following:

1. Are you using 2024.2 of 3ds Max version? If No, can you update to it and see if you see any improvements.
2. What if you uninstall Corona, do you see any performance gain when switching to other renderer? If yes, please submit a comparison for us.
3. 4. Make sure both of your software+ system hardware drivers are uptodate. Especially, windows update, graphic card etc.
5. Is the problem happening even on blank scene or with some specific scene?
6. Have you tried a clean re-install of Corona?

Yes...latest 3ds max build.  Have Uninstalled and reinstalled. Happens when opening whenever I initiate 3ds max. Will attempt enu option.

Reset the ENU for 3ds max and still major slowdown...When I start MAX everything runs fine until it gets to Corona and it freezes while it tries to load it. Once I get into max it's slow and all my licenses are lost. For Corona, Vray and Vantage.

What do you mean your licenses are lost?

Can you try the following:

Uninstall the Chaos license server and remove any remaining files from the following folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ssl
 
Afterwards, download and install the latest Chaos license server 6.0.1 from the following page: https://download.chaos.com/downloads/22127/licenseserver-standalone-601-adv
 
Go to the Chaos License server page (http://localhost:30304), click on Online Licensing and sign in. Check if your licenses are visible.

Then open 3ds Max, activate Corona and see if the licenses are still getting lost/deactivated, etc.
