This is personal project, which I used to study and achieve a good neon result. It's impressive how is so important knowing very well what you are trying to recreate. After made a research of how neon tube are made, I realized that I did all wrong, and of course, I didn't get a good result. Also, I get awesome references on Behance.

Your renders look quite nice, can you say a fiew words about how making of your product?

Hi Tanakov!
The first step was to understand how neon bars are made. So, it´s very important to recreate the tube woth some thickness and another one thinner to simulate the gas inside the tube. The contour tube is a simple glass material and the "gas" is a self-illuminated material with fallof at diffuse to darker the border of the neon a liitle. Also, I used a shinny black material between the letters setting ID for those polygons.
The environment is an HDRI with two square area lights.
That' all!
Cheers

Hi man, could tell me where did you find fallof on diffuse?

Most likely it's the native Max Falloff map, plugged into the Diffuse slot.
