Hi everyone!
Please, I would like to create a satin decoration on a sliding door glass.
This morning I tried a lot, inserting - alas - masks on all the parameters. But nothing of what I wanted happened.. :(
Can someone help me? Thank you for your time!

Could you show the results you got so far?
It should be pretty straightforward. Create a simple glass material (you can use the Corona Physical Material presets for this), then map its roughness with a texture. The "shiny" parts should have low roughness and the "mat" parts should have high roughness.

Hi Maru,
Thank you for your answer.
I attach files of the work done.
However, how can I apply the decoration to only one side of the glass?
Thanks again for your time

You can add a polygon selection to one side and apply a version of the material with the shape to that. Have normal glass on the rest of the object. You could use the decal object as well.

Using bump is optional of course ;)

Handsome!!
(Usually, in my experience, the videos on YouTube - in general - that talk about this topic, I have never been able to understand: they seemed really complicated to me...)
I have never tried to create a material like this...
You represented an image - for me - in a simple way.
I'll definitely give it a try!
