Hi all,
This is more a query than anything else...
I have a camera with clipper turned on. The camera is behind a wall, but the wall is clipped so I can see into the room behind the clipped wall. Basic, standard stuff.
If I have my viewport set to the camera view and I want to do a function, such as create a box with auto-grid, or use the 'select and place' tool, it's basically impossible as the viewport sees the wall that is being clipped, rather than the walls/objects I want to interact with beyond the clipping place.
Does this make sense?
Is this somehow fixable? Can I overcome this little quirk?
Thanks!

I think this is something that should be addressed in the Autodesk forum, not in Corona's. I have similar issues with that, when for example i make a ceiling invisible in the viewport, it then later constantly stands in the way when i want to use auto-grid.

Exactly.
Yes, I don't expect Corona to address this issue, but I was sorta hoping some smart folk here had a work-around for me :)

You might want to ask in the Facebook group Stack.
They're great and it's all about 3Ds max.

Hi,
Remember that there is viewport clipping, which will actually clip the objects in the viewport and let you see/go through them.
