Can someone help me on creating a back lit metal mesh bar shelf? See the images included for design inspiration.

You can use corona pattern for the mesh and place a light where it would actually exist. You should get the same results as in real life that way.

Yes, CoronaPattern is another way of doing this, but it will take longer to model the mesh, then map it etc.
In the attached screenshot you can see that the wire is achieved using simple 3ds Max tile map in opacity slot.
