Title: IR updating when navigating in SME

Hello,

when navigating in the SME, it each time renews the IR in the VFB. Is it possible to avoid it ? Only udpate when you change actually something in the material ?

Corona should not update IR when navigating in SME, however some users do suffer from this issue. According to devs that's very hard if not impossible to fix, because the issue comes from 3ds Max itself.

well it does on max2024/latest v10 hotfix

mostly when in "deep" edit-mode in the materials, not so much when just on the main material i found out

Could you please explain how exactly to reproduce this issue? Showing screenshots would be great, and if you could attach a sample scene where it happens, that would be even better.
