Title: First Work: Apartment in Winterthur, Switzerland
Post by: Kilja on 2014-06-08, 22:37:30
Hello

I'm really new here and just finished my first work with Corona Render: a arch student work apartment house interior in Winterthur Switzerland.
Because its for an exam and the room structure and architecture is important, furniture and decorations should be as less as possible.

what do you think?

Everything looks ok, but you need to work more on your materials.

Note that your checker tiles, have bump and reflection set wrong, as black tiles are 2-3 mm higher than whites. Also reflection needs a bit work.

Change the UVW, on your balcony door and add some background there, even if you will put it almost 100% white. That adds realism.

Bump on your walls is also quite strong, is your cealing wet? Because it reflects like polished or moist.

Overal, it looks good, but needs tweaks. Not a rework, just tweaks.

I'll work a bit on it and post it again afterwards.

What should i do exatly to improve reflections on my tiles?
