Title: Leica M3 test
Post by: Adanmq on 2014-06-06, 01:09:55
Hi. Excuse my bad English.

I´m a recent user of Corona and i must say i´m socked whit the easy of use / fast results. I can´t believe it´s only an alpha version.
I want to share whit you this test.

Still WIP, i need to add a lot of imperfections / Dust  and more complex shader. One problem i have using blend material + Displace, i want the displace details but  can´t build complex materials without blend. The lights looks plane without some images, but i can´t figured out how to add custom images to corona lights.
The model need some sculpted details and better Unwrap. I don´t like the leather material.

Please let me know how to improve it.

ouhh... that is a sexy render !!

I'd would say too clean for something vintage, you're beating the 'mint' status of any ebay items right now :D

So I guess a 'little' texturing work would bring your potentially photo-realist model to its fair place.
Scratches as visible in  borisquezadaa's link or Alex Roman (still years after) masterpiece :

...

But it's a very good start already to say the least.
