Title: HDRI
Post by: djibvongenf on 2023-03-11, 20:32:43
Hello All,

Im testing some hdr image from https://3dcollective.es/ but it seem impossible to get something acceptable.

Over exposed, no details etc... Even when im opened it in psd (.hdr) the result is also over exposed.

Any idea why everything works fine with hdri heaven and not with these hdr?

thank you

Lower your exposure in camera settings, or lower the exposure of the hdri via a color correct node.

In photohsop, you can also lower the exposure (just for viewing, this doesn't change the image at all, just how it's exposed in PS): https://tinytutorials.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/screen-shot-2011-03-16-at-10-55-14-am.png

There's nothing impossible. Plug your HDRI to Corona color correct node and adjust exposure according to your needs.

Seems to work pretty well, thank you!

Another quick question, is there a way to lower the horizon of the hdri or change its position in height in the world?

Only by using the HDRI in Dome mode
